I just spoke to a supplier who is up in Glasgow. He explained he only has a choice of about 20 courses within the five-mile radius of his house in which he is allowed to travel! And how the courses in Scotland continue to be extremely busy despite the weather. ‘It's alright for some’ I said. But when you think about it; if we can go into supermarkets, queue up and buy take-away food, and ride on public transport, why on earth can’t we play golf? Pity we can’t have the same privileges as in Scotland. Spare time It’s a good opportunity to get things done at the moment though. The shop has had a major clean and tidy and will be looking great when you are able to come back in. I have brought all our orders forward, so we can get everything into stock and displayed now ahead of the reopening whenever that is. The greens staff have been extremely busy carrying on with various projects. Aaron commented that the rest has done the course well and its condition will be all the better when we can re-open. Trevor Bate has been very busy using the tractor to really tidy the drive today, I didn’t need to go far to take this photo.
