Running Repairs
Metal spikes give better grip than the plastic cleats in muddy or icy conditions - like at the moment. This means increased safety and lower scores. Your Pro shop sells spikes individually; we fit them free and usually while you wait.
G30's
Our PING G30 range has virtually all gone again as you will see if you look at the PING stand! Discover the G30 and achieve more distance, accuracy and lower scores with this fantastic range.
Try the demos whenever you like and don't worry we will have more stock arriving next week.
6 for 5
Contact between you and the club is everything. Wearing the right gloves for the conditions will help, but have a look at the condition of your grips too. Don't be embarrassed to bring them in! Fitting grips is quick and FREE OF CHARGE. They usually take about half an hour to dry so we can even re-grip before you play, for example if it's your driver leave it in the bag for a couple of holes (may do you good anyway!). Failing that we can do them while you go in for a pint after your round. For every six clubs re-gripped you will receive one FREE.
Also I have some Golf Pride full cord grips on clearance - half price from £10 to £5 each. Enough to do two sets only!
The team of The President, Mike Warburton and Paul Kerrigan will be at the Captain's table on Saturday and managed to end Alex Wigley's winning streak. The temperature has really dropped this week and staying warm is key. Mike Warburton was so pleased with the FootJoy base layer purchased prior to victory on Saturday, that Mike came in and bought another on Sunday!
Presentation
The next presentation is This Saturday the 13th December; the presentation will start at 5pm, please come in your Jacket and Tie to collect your vouchers from The Captain. Click here to see the vouchers winners.
Pro's Stableford
Sunday's stableford was won by Dave Hamilton with 39 points which is an excellent score in tough conditions. Pete Woodfinden finished second this week with 36 points beating Ryan Swift on countback. Click here to see the full results.
There were four two's worth £7.50 each.
Bill Coll won Wednesday's Pro's Stableford with 33points beating last week's winner Paddy Weadick by one shot. Click here to see the full results.
And still no 2's so it's the first triple rollover next week.
