At Kingsbarns the fairways are really quite open and it’s a pleasure to play. Royal Troon has some good par 3’s but some punishing rough. Carnoustie has the very tough par 3 16th but if you like a challenge it’s a great course.

The GC2 is easy to operate and you won’t want to come out! Contact us to book in.

New stock

It’s all piling in already ahead of the new season. Here are a few more snaps of the lovely new stock arriving in the Pro Shop daily.

Re-gripping

I have re-gripped a few sets of irons during the last week. I would particularly recommend the Golf Pride CP2 which are proving a very good all-rounder and will make your clubs feel like new. Lots of golfers have had one or two done and then get the rest done because they are so liked.

If yours are tired or they don’t feel comfortable in any way bring them in. You can have a FREE grip assessment and I can have your clubs done the same day.

Paying your subs

We take subs payments in The Pro Shop if this is more convenient for you. You can use plastic and of course, we are open 7 days a week so any day is a good day!

3rd - Mark Watkins, Mike Canning & John Booth - 85

I doubt many clubs in the area managed competition on Saturday but ours was fine.

Sunday & Wednesday Stablefords

In very wet conditions on winter greens, Alistair Nadin won Sunday’s Stableford with 45 points. No competition was possible on Wednesday because the weather has been so poor.
