Well done Jack Cooper who won Saturday's November Stableford with 37 points, beating Steve Bardsley by virtue of back nine countback. Simon Clegg finished third this week on a countback from Dave Hamilton.
Pro's Comp
Sundays Pro's Comp was won by Dave Platt with 40 points beating Brian Cole on a countback. David's 40 points will not escape the notice of our Handicaps Chairman Gary Inman who marked his card! Les Hattersley finished third this week with 39 points and fourth was Malcolm Hamilton who bounced back to form with 37 points.
Considering this was derby day this was another great entry thanks. 2's were worth £11.50 each.
30 played in Wednesday's stableford, and Kevin Seaton came out on top with 35 points. Wednesday Section Chairman Alan Finney finished second with 34. Prizes went down to fourth.

Hi Tec Splash
Steve Bardsley came in after his excellent score on Saturday and made a point of thanking the comfort of his shoes. The green lace/orange lace alignment system has worked again and I think the shoe manufacturers are missing a trick here and should take note!
Steve's Hi Tec Splash are a light weight waterproof shoe which are easy to clean and almost indestructible. At £34.99 and with three free pairs of socks worth £7 thrown in they must be a good investment for this winter and next.
Grips
Golf Pride Tour Wrap grips have been the bargain buy recently, they are extremely popular due to the tackiness and longevity of the product. It is really important that if you're considering playing winter golf to check your grips especially in the rain.
They are available in black, white, red or blue.
They are £6.99 each or special offer 6 for 5.
Which Bridgestone for you?
Lots of RV members are enjoying the benefits of playing Bridgestone golf balls. The fitting day earlier this year was a real eye opener and the comment I hear the most is how much further Bridgestone balls go. Of course you need to hit it in the right direction to get the full benefit, but if you are playing a 7 iron not a 5 iron for your second shot, the game is easier and your scores will be lower. When the delivery of the new Bridgestone B330 RXS arrived I thought we could do with an extension on the shop to store them, and last week we ran out! More of the revolutionary and as yet uncopied B330 RXS are in store now, and so are some more of the multilayer E6 which is the one for straighter ball flight. The balls will definitely be stocked next year and I am organising another fitting day early in the season so look out for the date as I guarantee this years will be fully booked. If you are curious which ball could help you in the meantime, mention it next time you're passing so we can help you find it.
Yet again the seniors have been out on the course to tidy certain areas of the course, on Monday they managed to tackle the 9th, 11th, 13th, 14th & 17th. They have one more day coming up to do more work to the course. It looks great what they are doing, next time you are out playing have a look at their handy work.
