Business as usual...

Holly and Saskia are settling in nicely, getting used to the shop, the golf club and both girls are doing well.

We are offering all the services you are used to again and I am working 7 days a week at the moment, so you can book your lessons and club fittings as usual again. My best days being Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Plus, I can also do some evenings if that suits you better.

Saturday morning catering – if you want it support it!

Chris is catering from 9.00 tomorrow and will have either bacon barms or sausage barms available. If you value this service and wish to retain it, please support it.

If you eat later I would say you can’t go wrong with omelette and chips. I know there are lots of other things, but Chris has made me aware of this and it just happened to be the first meal I had from Chris and it is so good, I have just stuck with it!

Not all these players have won a prize but they are all worthy of mention! On a day when people were flaking out with the heat, Jon Milner (known in certain circles as ‘the tash man’) enjoyed his round so much that he went round again in the afternoon.

A total of twenty four players have returned three scores in the first three rounds of The Jubilee. Just so you know that for the overall prizes your handicap remains the same as it was in the first round, but it’s your current handicap that counts for the day prizes. So your current handicap should be on the card and the computer sorts it all out.

There has been a rumour that a certain regular member of the school has been playing off a handicap too high for a while now, but I am sure it is just a malicious rumour.
