The new Titleist range received some negative press (must have been from competitors) when they arrived earlier this year - but you only need to try one to know what complete rubbish this was.

Titleist have the most adjustability on the market as you can alter the face angle, loft and now with the sure fit technology we can actually change the location of the centre of gravity in the head as well. This has a massive effect of the playing characteristics of the club so I would conclude that correct fitting is the key, and those that spoke badly of the system weren't doing it properly at all.

Assistant's News 

Unfortunately we had to rearrange last Sunday's junior competition because of the rain and have moved it to this Sunday at 2.30pm. 

I am still going to run a coaching session for all those that are interested in starting up. 

It will commence at 1pm down on the practice ground. 

We already have a few names down so please register in the pro shop to start our Junior Programme.

Caddy 

We have a young junior who is a very keen on his golf, is keen to learn and would like to earn some money caddying on a Saturday. Caddying is something of a tradition which has all but disappeared at club level, perhaps the rise of the electric trolley is responsible but please get in touch if you can help.
