They are the best and most advanced Titleist's to date, and we have lots of demos for you to try so please feel free to put them to the test.
The 917 has a brand new and improved weighting system compared to its predecessor, the 915, and you can see how it works by removing and altering a large weight in the back of the clubhead.

You can compare the consistency of each club by looking at the distribution pattern, which is most interesting when you are looking for consistency and control in a set of irons.

Saturday's Stableford
1st - Ryan Jackson - 42 points
2nd - Bill Coll - 36 points
3rd - Duncan Hayes - 35 points (CPO)
4th - Steve Smith - 35 points
2's were worth £7.06 each.
Ryan Jackson won Saturday's stableford by a massive six points after an all-time best 64 gross and 42 stableford points. It's not often you hear 1 handicappers labelled as bandits but that's what I heard on Saturday. Ryan was still ruing a heavy wedge shot into the 16th where he actually dropped a shot, and then missing a five footer on the last, but overall he was very happy and it just shows that no matter how well you do, you always feel you could do better.
Winter OOM
It's nearly time for the Winter Order of Merit to begin. If you didn't know, the results from all Saturday competitions count towards the overall individual prizes. Points are awarded to anyone finishing in the top six places each week and the first, second and third placed golfers will receive their prizes come the end of the winter. Last winter's winner was Phil Houghton who won £150, second was Steve McCann, winning £100, and third Crispian Logue £50.
Sunday's Pro's Stableford
In first place was Ryan Swift with a fantastic 40 points, with Kevin McCrevey only one point back in second scoring 39. Gareth Eyres came third with 37 points, and Mike Thompson came in fourth with 35 points (CPO).
2's were worth £10.25 each.
Wednesday Section
Division 1 was won by Lee Norcross with 38 points, Division 2 's champion was Mike Thompson with 34 points, and Division 3 was topped by Mike Warburton with 36 points.
2's were worth £9.00 each.
Wednesday competitions will continue throughout the winter and will be Pro's yellow tee Stableford's from next week.
Wednesday's Winter Stablefords have been well supported in recent years and are well worth making the effort to get out. Have a look on the BRS and see who is playing because it is easy to make games up this way. You can always contact us in the shop if you are looking for a game and we will do our best to arrange it.
